As stated on MIT Media Lab site: “The Lifelong Kindergarten group develops new technologies and activities that, in the spirit of the blocks and finger paint of kindergarten, engage people in creative learning experiences.” The Scratch Conference brought together over 500 educators, teachers, researchers and supporters for 3-days in July. Participatory conversations, strategies and workshops highlighted creative learning opportunities for adults who support kids learning Scratch, an open-source online programming language that promotes sharing and creativity among a community of imaginative users. The branding and design work included a suite of materials (print and digital) which helped set the tone for a playful, creative event. Concept and design in collaboration with the Scratch team.
